Description

Extend the classroom outdoors and connect young children with the natural environment every day! This sturdy freestanding activity center is constructed in proven weatherproof material and features a striking design proportioned intentionally for young learners. The spacious interior comfortably accommodates multiple children and a variety of collaborative activities, creating an inviting setting for outdoor exploration, creativity and social interaction. An overhanging activity table on each side — accessible from both inside and outside the pavilion — pairs perfectly with WB2725 outdoorED™ Benches (sold separately) to support small group learning, hands-on projects and imaginative play. Line of sight is excellent from any angle for child supervision and safety.

The vented roof provides welcome shade from the sun or partial shelter from weather and extends outdoor learning opportunities throughout the day and across seasons. Wide openings on each end provide ADA accessibility and create an inclusive environment designed for every child to participate comfortably.

The pavilion also complies with the National Head Start Association (NHSA) and federal Head Start Program requirement that outdoor equipment must be free from splinters, an important safety consideration.

Constructed in 3/4-inch textured HDPE woodgrain maple and polar white structural elements that form crisp pleasing lines with refined contrasting color accents and a design that coordinates seamlessly with all other pieces in the outdoorED™ Collection. Stainless steel hardware is rust-resistant. The UV stabilized HDPE resists fading, stains, mold and mildew and won’t chip, delaminate, rot, splinter, swell or absorb moisture, bacteria or odors. Easy to clean using common non-abrasive household cleaning agents. White panels do not absorb or reflect heat from the sun.
